Impossible conversation on Failure with Rest for the Wicked

In 2019, the artists’ collective Rest for the Wicked started a research project looking at failure and participatory art practices. They collected stories and experiences that could help artists and organisations share and further develop their ambitions and practices.

During the reflection day in December Rest for the Wicked will create a platform where we can talk about failure and reimagine the future of participatory art practices.

Building Conversation will host Impossible Conversation on Failure. A conversation inspired by a Jesuit method in which you slow down and connect personal images by writing, reading and speaking together.

As part of the research project, Tandie McLeod and Ewout D’Hoore, recorded a podcast in which they discuss failure and participatory art practices with a number of intersting artists, individuals and organisations. Listen to it here.
