Building Conversation during Talking Landscapes – Metropolis (DK)
In February we took off to Aarhus, Denmark to prepare, and do research, for the upcoming Talking Landscapes project which is initiated by Metropolis. We met with all the partners involved, met future Danish conversation facilitators, and already went looking for suitable locations for the conversations we are going to have in the summer.
In May we will go back to share our practices of Time Loop, Parliament of Things and Impossible Conversation with the new Danish conversation facilitators and start our participation in Talking Landscapes. During Talking Landscapes, from May to September we conduct a series of conversations spread over eleven cities between Copenhagen and Aarhus.
Talking Landscapes is a series of conversations and exchanges in rural areas that look at how we communicate. With and without words. With and without body. With and without things. The project is part of the triptych Walking Landscapes (2021), Talking Landscapes (2022) and Creating Landscapes (tbc), initiated by Metropolis – art and performance in public space, an annual summer program from Københavns Internationale Teater.
2023
In 2023, inspired by our contribution to Talking Landscapes, a few of the conversation leaders trained by us participated in the program of Talking Landscapes with Parliament of Things.
