NLBuilding Conversation at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture
After the internationally acclaimed visual artist Sarah van Sonsbeek and the Russian architect Alexander Brodsky, in 2021, Building Conversation was the artist in residence at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture. As part of the Winter School programme, we worked with 130 international master’s students over a ten-day period.
Together, we explored the relationship between architecture and dialogue, and how each shapes and impacts the other. We also looked at the interplay between physical and social space. After this eye-opening collaboration both we and the Academy felt very strongly that the project deserved a tangible conclusion, both physically and online.
