Building Conversation at the Humboldt Forum (DE)

ENGLISH BELOW

At the end of September, we will be part of the Opening of the Ethnological Museum and Museum for Asian Art at Humboldt Forum (Berlin, Germany). With a series of online conversations we will host for four days the Impossible Conversation in English and German.
During Impossible Conversation you enter into conversation with each other based on personal experiences related to a challenging topic. The different perspectives present in the group come together during the conversation. Impossible Conversation is a method in which you slow down and connect personal images by writing, reading and speaking together. The conversation can be about many challenging and more abstract concepts.

Together with Humboldt Forum, we have chosen topics that relate to the changing times in which we are living:

23.09.2021 – 20h
>Impossible Conversation on Home (Heimat)
What makes you feel at home? How is this connected to the people, space, things, or the animals that surround you?

24.09.2021 – 20h
>Impossible Conversation on Heritage (Erbe)
How can we talk about heritage? Can we share heritage?

25.09.2021 – 20h
>Impossible Conversation on Risk (Risiko)
Have you ever felt there was a moment when you failed to take a risk? Or maybe you risked too much?

26.9.2021 – 20h
>Impossible Conversation on Future (Zukunft)
How do you talk about the future? How do you summon up images of things that do not yet exist?
