Beeldspraak

During Beeldspraak, we establish a space within which, as a group, we can look at something from different perspectives. In 2020 in France, schoolteacher Samuel Paty was killed after discussing a cartoon in class. This made us keenly aware of the need to explore ways of discussing images collectively without leading to polarisation. Beeldspraak consists of two lessons in which we look at and talk about three works of art with students and teachers. With this format we create a space in which different views, opinions and ways of looking can interweave.
